Opioid and fentanyl withdrawal can be especially difficult because of the physical dependence these substances can create and the risks associated with relapse. At Spencer Recovery Centers, we provide a specialized detox track designed to give clients added clinical support during the early stages of recovery.
Treatment is individualized based on substance use history, medical needs, withdrawal symptoms, and any co-occurring mental health concerns.
Fentanyl and other opioids can present added challenges during detox, which is why careful assessment and ongoing clinical monitoring are important. Our team works with each client to develop an appropriate detox and treatment plan based on their individual needs.
When appropriate, opioid and fentanyl detox can be part of Spencer Recovery’s short-term residential treatment program. Clients also receive therapeutic and dual-diagnosis support designed to address addiction alongside co-occurring mental health concerns, including trauma.
Detox is often only the first stage of recovery. Before discharge, our team helps clients determine the most appropriate next steps based on their progress and clinical needs.
When continued treatment is recommended, Spencer Recovery can help explore available insurance benefits and other treatment resources. Clients who do not continue in residential care can receive case management and referrals to sober living or other appropriate support services.
